crashing with np1013 error msg

Halp, registered here because I just tried playing the game for the first time and I keep crashing w/in a few minutes of logging in. Spent most of my day off trying to get it running too.

There is a lot of discussion on the forums about this issue, but it's a little bit much to wade through. I followed instructions on arks-layer.com as far as registering and setting up PSO2, but my guess is those are outdated? One thing I did glean from the forums is that npgm.erl can offer clues as to what is getting flagged? I tried uploading it, but the forum doesn't let me. Says invalid file.

It seems like a while ago there was no way to play the game with item translations unless you used some sort of batch file to launch, rather than the PSO2 Tweaker. Those posts seem to mainly be from last year, and I see many updates to the application since then, so I assumed that particular issue has been fixed.

Running a Windows 7 PC and have an Radeon R9 290 GPU.

Any help would be appreciated.

edit: seems like issue just magically went away.
