What are some good Gunslash Builds?

I was thinking of trying out a Gunslash build on an alt character of mine. I'm curious as to which Class Combos are usually best for Gunslashes. I was thinking of either going HU/GU, BR/HU, or HU/BR. Any thoughts or advice on this please?

Pretty sure nothing comes close to FI/HU at gunslash usage. Not even GU with Chain Trigger.

But never craft Ein Rakeiten. NEVER.

I don't know how this applies now but I believe Selphea stated in their opinion Fi/Ra was the preferred combo for gunslash.....

Why not? Uncrafted Ein Raketen is bad anyway. And Type-0 can serve as a pseudo-burst.

unmodded ein is pretty great, I'd have to find an opportunity to mess around with type-0 still. unmodded the damage is split 50/50 with s-atk and r-atk, while swiki's saying type 0 shifts more of the damage onto the shockwave. Depending on if you cancel out of the attack by using the midpoint JA window or let the whole animation play out, the shockwave will change from S-atk scaling to R-atk. it might be great as a TAJA partner for Serpent Air or Tri Impact 0 if you are focusing on S-atk, not sure what's up in the world of R-atk gunlashing these days, but I know Slash Rave and that one other PA are still pretty great for hybrid S-atk/R-atk builds
