can't use both triggers on a xbox 360 wireless controller at once anymore

so in the game itself the mappings never worked but i always used joy2key to circumvent that, but now, even though it clearly works in joy2key, the game doesn't let me do that anymore, i think it happened with creators update for windows 10, did anyone manage to fix that shit?
edit: nvm, i just realised i had one trigger set act as modifier for virtual joystick #2 and didn't setup the other trigger on virtual joystick #2
