PSO2.exe has stopped working

Basically, no matter what I do, every time I start the game from tweaker I get a blank screen, with the message PSO2,exe has stopped working
Tried a number of things on tweaker (ie searching for missing files, fixing PSO2.exe.) to no avail, can anyone give me any advice to fix this issue/ things I should do? Thanks

Slight chance that deleting user.pso2 (found in Document/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2, not the game directory) may fix the issue. Another thing to try is making sure that both the game and the tweaker are set as exclusions in your anti-virus/firewall/Windows Defender.

I downloaded the game from the tweaker site, with the English installation so I think the folders might be slightly different as I couldn't locate the one you suggested anywhere, but I did the firewall thing and now I can start the game, however it just shows a black screen, which doesn't respond or show as 'not responding' just sits there. I don't suppose you or anyone has any advice for this?

open pso2launcer.exe on original japan bin / pso2_bin, click japanese button from top left number 3, that will be check file and download from original sega website server
