Sounds like you just joined a bad MPA. In my experience everything is faster.

It's because you're still playing Ra/Hu in those mpas. You're slowing them!

Well raid boss was probably faster in EP4, because all broken things (zanverse, marron, ...), but MPA could be trash as well.
Now i feel it's more regular.

I was just wondering how to get higher dps in boss raids. Like, I think I'm decent, but not all that great, and I should be able to squeeze out another 10k dps, but ho does one do that? I know when to use Hero Time and what Hero Time should be used is a big factor for me, I'm still sluggish at that bit. Still working at an all attack set to make a 3rd Hero Time even worth it in boss raids. Perhaps there is a PA combo I'm missing with sword, or maybe there are times when I should switch to talis and my unit set and astra talis aren't enough? Any thoughts on the matter is appreciated.

it would be easier to give you a more specific answer by seeing gameplay or mentioning a specific boss and how you handle it.

whats the best(or your fav) 12* unit combo for hero out of red shine, izane and qliffad?

currently have red(pre-affixed rear)/qliff(pre-affixed arm)/izane(final affix leg) but izane rear just dropped, wonder if i should affix the shine or take the hp of izane?
