This is specifically with Talis right? There isn't some mechanic where the 200 T-ATK of the Photon Flare ring gets converted into both 200 S-ATK and 200 R-ATK, right?

depends what you're using it on. on something like pd, talis finish is literal garbage (it counts as tech damage).

Are you sure about that? As far as I can tell from the wiki, talis normals/PAs are striking damage and the talis finisher is shooting damage.

oh shooting damage would also make sense regarding pd. pd's multipliers for non-striking damage are garbage for both ranged/tech. just figured cuz it's talis ya know it'd be... tech lol. typical sega.

Talis deals tech based striking damage, but in most situations the stat type and resistance type are the same, even if they don't deal that damage type. The damage type only matters for skills, so talis would still do reduced damage to PD because PD's striking resistance and defense affects it, not the striking damage and defense.

just wanted to confirm here that sword finish now always does 7 hits regardless if you press it from the ground or when jumping. this was fixed this maintenance.
