Personally I think it's good if not everyone prefers Hero's play style over the play style of their own class. I dunno why anyone expected any of Hero's weapons to function like they do on their original classes though.

heh, i know the feeling, there is a guildie who stubornly keeps wishing that he can use the traditional sword PAs alongside hero´s, and that he sees no reason why it shouldnt be able to.

i admit though, that having sacrifical bite on hero would be awesome (maybe even a little OP) but considering that most PAs work alongside their class spesific gear bar, for normal PAs to work on hero they would have to rework how they behave with Hero´s gear bar, and i think sega is a bit lazy on that area

That's a... really petty reason not to main a new class.

There isn't much reason to max it unless you suspect it will be better than FI or GU at their niches, which I doubt.

I hope the class offers something to the party other than just being a new playstyle that takes more work but deals less damage. But seeing as they're gonna nerf a support tech...
