One minor thing I noticed as well: During the Abyss cutscene in Omnibus 2-5, Franka was updated to have her current outfit. So are they just retconning Franka's Cafe into past episodes now?

There is more than just that. The Omnibus quest haven't been following the old story quest 100%. Actually some things have been added. Some things we didn't actually do the first time.

Some examples are us purifying Vol Dragon. Or stopping Hunar's fist before he hits Sara. That never happened the first time around. Hunar never took a swing at Sara and we never had the power to purify until Episode 4. I went back and checked a recording of Episode 1 Chapter 8 - 2 and Hunar never swung at Sara. I also checked a recording of Episode 1 Chapter 4 and we never jump on Vol Dragon's back and purify him.

Either Sega is retconning things or Alma is messing with us.

Yeah... a Level 24 version.

Edit: My bad? idk. I went back to check the quest again and I can choose to fight a normal Luther now. idk if I somehow missed that the first time or if it never gave me the choice but... here we are.

Edit 2: Lv 75 Luther does not have the same traits as the XH Luther.

The option is there when you first start the quest. Every single "battle" mission (Crossed Swords icon at the select list) lets you select easy baby mode or Normal. I have no idea if it's always 75, or if it's just scaled to your level, since I only ever run these on maxed classes. Story mode enemies do have tweaked stats, however, i.e. falzes being lower HP like solo PD is for triggers, or Hunar being way tankier than he has any right to be in episode 1.

It's scaled to your level, but there's a level limit. Current content (Omnibus, EP5, end of EP4) scales up to 75.

There are still plenty of Darkers that haven't received an Ultimate makeover and I'm really hoping Darker bosses get the Ultimate treatment.

Makes beating the bosses feel a little more rewarding by making your character look like a badass for a few seconds though I don't understand why only one specific boss fight in an Episode gets one while everything else is left untouched.

Well, the Omnibus is just a second hand story written by Xiera. She probably does editing to make the scenes make Player (who she was programed to be a fan girl towards) look better than they really were. If this were real life, historians and literary scholars will call Xiera out on bias.

You're viewing a recording with Xiera and Alma, so you're abusing the fact that they both have no idea how the actual events look like.

I'm pretty sure we aren't purifying them, we're absorbing them, which is a power Player-Chan always had. They probably just wanted to make it more clear that it was something we were doing.
