Episode 5 Story Discussion

Okay, can we talk about these for a second? Someone ripped these 7 days ago:

One of them is definitely a Mining Base Final wave. The second track has two sections, the first section sounds like a potential Falz Apprentice track, while the second-half sounds HEAVILY like a Dark Falz Loser 2.0 BGM. It has that female high-pitched "Hooooooooh!" that is iconic to each IDOLA song in PSO2.

We didn't get any news about a new Mining Base, nor a new Dark Falz...

. Turns out, she likes green (and has animal ears for some reason). The trailer is the first time we see her in person and if you're wondering why she doesn't look like an old hag, that's because she never lived long enough to grow old in the first place as a result of said sacrifice.

Neat....I'm still learning about game lore! As for the old hag thing I just assumed she died young so her "ghost form" is just what she looked like pre death......like those typical ghost type deals cartoons and the like tend to use.

I guess its worth pointing out that the new Buster Quest of EP5 (that raid where we fight a castle monster in the trailer), which is going to be the game's first 8-MPA quest, looks like it functions similarly to Mining Base except this time we get to strike back after we're done defending. I imagine the first song is going to be used for the Buster Quest.

As for the second, oh yeah, getting heavy Dark Falz vibes there. It sounds like it has a more gothic feel to it. Sounds friggin amazing too and fits the style of soundtrack from EP1 to 3.

She died sacrificing herself to seal Dark Falz Elder in the Ruins area a really loooong time ago. That giant red tower we see in the background of Zeshraider's boss stage? That's Alma's work and where Elder used to be sealed until Gettemjerk woke him up.
