I wouldn't say its "killing" anything outright, but the stock dragon boss reveal was the first time in 5 years when I felt absolutely nothing.
Phantoms, anime, Its great , I'm cool as long as its something new, but right now its a really weird feeling.
Episode core that is buster quest, which is really just an upgraded TD1 map, barely grows in size, and that core is sprinkled with various actually nice crumbs like AQs, neo hunar or story setting. Weapon progression went from sidegrade whocares tier to gimmick tier like 14s hero items, BQ bonus or antidemon weapons or Dark blast potential. I wouldnt care about hero if there was something to match, but now they just deliberately buff classes for the sake of it, despite that enemy power didn't grow since what, ep3? Without field concept they also have to recycle the same enemies for every other eq as well now.
Its the first time I see a wide backslash from jp players too.
