You start off small and build your wallet. Back in EP1 I was selling 3s Fang Soul units for 3m a pop, cost me maybe 300k to make.

Players can sell lesser fodders, not everyone starts off gambling 10m+ players can gamble lesser amounts like 1-2m or even less. If a player knows how to affix properly they can mitigate shit odds and increase affix rates by 10% (outside of boost weeks). And don't get me started on how even a 5% affix boost makes a huge difference.

It's all about the player, some players like to grind, others prefer high-risk-high-reward.

The problem with grinding TA/Daily for meseta is that you become too attached to it like it's some precious thing, after all, you did just spend an untold amount of time grinding your 10+ characters for meseta. In that situation are you more likely or less likely to gamble with it after all the time you've spent grinding for it? I predict less likely, preventing you from ever attaining large ridiculous amounts of meseta because you'll never take risks with it.

@ OP: One thing you don't want to do is RMT, players get banned for that frequently, also, I personally stay away from AC scratch but I know a lot players who rely almost exclusively on scratching and selling for meseta (not a good idea unless you can throw away real money).

I was just objecting to the the fast part because of the long start up and the variable amount of time it might take to sell. I know it's a good way to make money in the long run.

I do concur with the Apprentice 5s method. You can start as soon as you do a few rounds of TACOs, has a low investment cost (less if you play PSO2es), involves no gambling if you use a few Excubes, and nets you around 3m per piece you sell. It's definitely slower than gambling away 8.5m on a 46% chance to triple your cash, but is pretty surefire. The only catch is that you have Excubes as a limiting factor, which you aren't likely to have a lot of if you don't attend EQs regularly.

I suppose once you make around 30m+ or so, you can start gambling big on affixing, and that's where the big bucks comes from.

single character is good but multiple character is better:

    2. daily Client Order VH+ on exploration and boss killing
    3. weekly gathering Client Order from Yerkes at Franka Cafe

^this, also currently each char can do polytan co's that net 50extra badges per char per day which translate into accessories/la's/camos you can sell later once you get eveything you want from the store. this is true for (almost) any npc co's exchange stuff like 13* co's, camo's etc
