Worst way to play Hero. I hate ppl who do this shit - hold their Rising slash button which DPS is lower than LMB combo attack. Moreover some of them don't ever bother to JA before doing this shit which drops their DPS almost to zero in that time.

Yes. Because they don't. Their first attack is always a JA. Please learn what skills Hero has before shit talking it.

I don't know if this combo is the best, but Vapor (backwards) -> Flash Trick -> 3rd auto -> repeat is a really fast, good damage combo against stationary things. When engaging the targeted weakpoint or whatever, can obviously start with a forward Vapor for the first cycle.

The best sword PA DPS is VaporX2>3rd normal>repeat. Replacing vapor with tapped rising slash is negligibly weaker, while not requiring you to move around, and slightly more pp efficient. The difference between just spamming the PAs vs doing the 3rd normal attack is also negligable, but since the 3rd normal recovers pp instead of costing it, you can do it longer that way.

Technically the fully charged sword action has the best DPS of anything Hr sword can do, but that's not always the best option due to how long it takes.

Also this is all under the assumption you're frame perfect.

For anyone wondering why holding rising slash is frowned upon, it's WEAKER than normal attacks while costing PP. The only reason to use it is fine tuning your positioning while doing damage.

if you're referring to swiki, that's for releasing a fully charged wep action if you've precharged it beforehand. it's actual dps is only 1182.
