New Phishing site spotted (Oct 04th)

Since the new event requires you to log in relatively often to your SEGA ID, some asshats decided to launch several PSO2 fake saites to try and get your IDs and passwords etc.

SEGA warned about it on Twitter, other Arks and random users have been spreading it around, but I thought maybe I should mention it on the boards as well.

The bottom urls are the correct, official ones.
The urls with the black dots are examples of the pattern of the fake sites.

They're not too difficult to spot - "SEAG ID", "PSSO2", random little things not matching, etc - but they come up pretty high in the list if you google PSO2 in general so... you know.

Even obscure games have people willing to spend thousands of $/€/¥/Bitcoins on them. And scammers exist everywhere.

Stealing accounts from anywhere is useful because there's always the chance it's the same account and password used for something else (seriously, this is part of why you should use different passwords for stuff). PSO2 is popular enough that people would bother, even if it's not for PSO2 accounts specifically.
