is maxing Lord of thorns even a good idea? 25% gain rate seems really low

Maxing Lord of Thorns makes it take 4 times as long to max, but only do 3x damage, so it's not really worth it. Based on the numbers 3 points seems optimal in terms of damage:charge rate. If it was 4x damage or 33% charge rate there could be an argument for maxing it, but as it is right now, it just makes it take too long compared to the damage.

I guess if you just want to see 999999 every once in a while.

Ye I only tested with (maxed) or without Lord of Thorn trees, sorry I forgot to say take it with a grain of salt for what I've suggested. Someone may wanna optimize in between (2? or 3 like Kondibon said) or probably not take it at all it's good damage anyway.

The thing is I'm still trying to find the best way to build the mark faster to make it viable. I mean we got Phantom time Mark P but really, be careful on early opinions including mine, we're all still testing stuff here, hard.

To be fair, I made the same mistake. Though it was more because I thought it was reducing the gain by 25% not TO 25%. That's a pretty big difference.

I'm probably worse cause I do know it, but being too overconfident on building up the mark. I mean, I think we literally need like hundreds of hits for LoT lv 10? That's actually a lot, haha.

So I guess yeah take around 2, 3 or maybe (imo) at most 6 cause we got Phantom Time Mark Plus here, that thing is like 300% gear increase rate. Not sure.

However I'm not really sure about taking Long Range Mark Boost and Chase Mark Boost would be beneficial. Still an early opinion.

why wouldnt this be beneficial? this is just like HR's version, you want Marker build up from all ranges no matter how you're playing, the faster the build up the better

So if I'm reading this right, with lord of thorns, rod takes 48 hits for blue, and 200 for purple?

There's still lack of skills explanation on swiki and I'm curious about Full Drive skill.
It's for Ph subclass for something like HuPh, FiPh, GuPh, BrPh only? Or I'm wrong?
