I've done the player shop stuff for like ever since 2013, haven't been flagged and if you ever are, sucks I guess. The paper trail would show it going back and forth. That's nothing to worry about at all.

One day is more than enough like I explained you can future proof your shop, learn to think ahead, and still get passes from the FUN scratch it's not that hard, peep.

Play smarter, is really the whole tone of this thing, these little things like switching skill tress aren't something everyday people, need and mostly just the 1 percent that want to feel like they can get the most out of everything possible, again it's not going to make that much of a different in gameplay.

The TA category is useless now, just like other content, so again it doesn't matter~

None of this will make or break anyone's gameplay, and if it does, you need to play smarter.

Similarly PP drink for premium can give you both PA damage up and PP restoration up if I remember it correctly. Ares NT and its pot on Austere can't be used revved up to full potential without paying for mags. Multishipping relies on ship transferring so you can move the rares around and even buy low sell high going from one ship to another. SG for triggers since non paying users won't really be able to buy everything out. Some premium drop rate from whatever it was. Going over character limit for free players to get more weeklies.

That's all I remember for now.

EDIT: Of course also multiple class trees you will need if you want to play two classes as both main and sub for a lot of combos like Hu and Fi, and minor things you can do with them like having mobbing/bossing tree that lets you optimize at least a tiny bit.
    1. Noble, Elegant & Grace boosters no not anywhere near required for high end gear, attaining 150-200 atk, w/e hp+pp is attainable with material currently available. Buying any of these boosters is a luxury choice

    2. If you're a f2p player then yes, getting shop passes is a pain but since I support Sega and buy premium its not an issue for me. Yes you have fun but you also have solo triggers to get passes. I'm not sure what other sources there are for shop passes because this has not been on my mind for years.

    3. Premium bonuses are for obviously people who are financially supporting the game with a monthly premium membership, these extra bonuses added on to drinks sounds exactly a Freemium player complaint. With or without these boosts, they arent game breaking and people still attain high feats without these little extra add-ons

    4. Ares NT, while yes its a good series (which you should be on Austere by now which gets to my point), extra mags were never needed UNLESS you seriously want to deal with swapping mags for the extra boosts. You never had to make this choice (I never did, stupid idea to buy several mags for a weapon potential) and by now if you have Austere NT you wouldnt use this Pot unless you seriously want to. Null and void arguement for this because it was never gamebreaking for anything

    5. Multi-shipping isnt game breaking either, if you want to spend $7's every week transfer i mean go for it but really you wouldnt be swapping every week either if you had other characters spread out. As of right now with the current content, theres no real need to mutli-ship unless you want to.

    6. I dont know anyone paying extreme amounts of money for SG, if you look at the rates its not worth the money and there are plenty of FREE alternatives to gain SG every week, you just need to look for them. I myself have never payed for SG, the payout is not worth it

    7. Having 40 CO's over 20 is what you get for buying prem, you support the game, you get goodies for doing so. Another Freemium complaint

    8. Tree's have gone through a nice makeover throughout the years, extra tree's arent exactly needed either unless your going for specific builds. Fo/Te trees are no longer on the table, you can literally tri-element both trees and grab the essentials still. As for the Hu/Fi-Fi/Hu thing, don't know what to tell you really, i guess buy a tree? or buy another character and get the benefits from doing so

The gist I got was just Freemium complaints and with Sega coming up with some more benefits for people who are prem its just more whine from people who don't financially support the game through a monthly prem pass which in turn comes to "entitlement"

Now hold your horses. I'm not the OMG LOOTBOXES RUIN WORLD type. I just believe in Occam's razor and calling things what they are. The conversation is more honest that way, and I can praise PSO2 for the fact that they handled gachas better than most games.

The few scratchers I indulged in with the Japanese version were fun. So is a real world casino in its own way. Everybody gets their kicks a little differently. I appreciated that PSO2 didn't engage in the usual crap that made you feel like your chances were better winning the lottery. Doesn't make it any less gambling. It just means you don't have to ruin your wallet or go without if an item comes out that you want, and it's easy enough to buy off others.
gamble or not, its not required to be good or amazing at the game or even to play, no money has to be pulled out of your pocket to enjoy your time here and ya, you can just earn meseta in game and just buy outfits, weapons etc from other players just like any other MMO through dailies, weeklies, etc

Revived my account to pop in and say that I'm ecstatic to see PSO2 finally get an official English release after like 7 years. I'm also super excited to see fellow members of the PSOGC and V2 communities coming back out of retirement-- some I even recognize after all this time! How long has it been: 13, 14 years?

I know we're not talking the same game here, but I did play the Open Beta when it first came out. Loved the gameplay, but between most everyone I know playing the eternal waiting game, and having to patch and re-patch the JP client with the English patch (thanks for all your work, PSO2 fans), it just wasn't in the cards for me at that point. Now, though? I'm ready to bring Sir Laguna out of retirement. I've BEEN ready. I hope to see both old and new fans on the NA ships. Come track me down!

I know there's still a lot of speculation and concern-- and believe me, I remember the SoA of old, I know we've been burned-- but honestly, I'm willing to give them a shot in spite of waiting 7 years. There's nothing saying SoA's changed, but there's nothing saying they haven't, either. With Microsoft's involvement, maybe they'll be kept on task this time around. With regard to how existing players on JP servers will be handled, I don't think you've got anything to worry about. Given the current cult status of this game on Western shores, MS or Sega enforcing an IP ban would not be good PR for them-- especially when it's the fans who will be first online, and spreading the word for them.

I'm not just in it for the game, but for the community, too. Some of the most fantastic, helpful people I've had the pleasure of playing an online game with came from PSO, so I'm hoping that continues into the sequel.

Anyhow, don't mind an old man's nostalgic ramblings. Nice to meet, and possibly be reacquainted with, you guys. Let's slay some stuff next spring.
Sir Laguna: Always outnumbered, never outgunned.

    We're doing this in 2020.

Guess what games are not released in certain european countries? and that's the whole issue, if they release it at is, then they are not going to give official support anywhere else that's not america.

And everyone supporting AC scratch, wouldn't it be better that all those items are in an AC shop? you choose the item you want and pay for it? that's how it works in most MMO (outside of mobile) right now.

But then that won't get people to throw as much cash as possible, which is the whole point of those "random" scratches.

Then the outfit you want costs 30 dollars instead of a chance of getting it for 2 dollars, like BDO.
The reason I prefer the scratch system is cause people will put the stuff they dont want on the shop which builds up with supply and sometimes you can get good stuff for lower price BUT if you add the system you want then you would need a trade channel and ask people to buy the 30 dollar costume to put on the shop so you can pay a crap ton of in game cash for.

Also, the "it's only cosmetics" argument that others have been saying doesn't work anymore since the vocal people against loot boxes say cosmetics are just as bad since it still encourages people to want to pay money. ie. fancy looks makes kiddies use momma's credit card so still bad.

Is the game dead in JP? Is that why they finally decided to localize it?

Sorry, but after the great big middle finger they gave us back when the game was wanted, many people most likely won't bother. Unless it's 100% free. All content and no loot boxes.

Well it's a Free to log on game, the money has to come from somewhere, if it was 100% free, it will most certainly die out quickly, as much as i hate the randomized way they do the items in this game even i'll admit they have to to make some sort of cash.

Sega cannot get away with the subscription model, they don't have that kind of pull and popularity anymore, Only square can get away with that this late, it seems.

The game is doing fine in JP right now. Most people are are speculating that they're finally going through with it because Microsoft is willing to provide the server infrastructure.

Plenty of people will bother based on the reactions I've been seeing, F2P isn't as much of a dirty word as it used to be. It might turn some people off, but a lot of people are at least going to check it out.

PSO2 is not Microsoft exclusive after all.

    https://www.gamespot.com/amp-article.../1100-6467814/

"And while Spencer couldn't confirm whether the game will appear in other regions like Europe and the Middle East because "Sega's ultimately responsible for it," he did say the game isn't console exclusive. "Yes, it will end up on all platforms."
    US/EU PS2/PC:

Dies Irae - Lvl 136 Gunmaster.

    JP:
