    Everyone has had access to 3 Chronos Stones and 2 Amphrodite Stones for end game, I don't understand why didn't just gear the other 2 weapons for phantom if you're feeling this way (assuming you're using them for other classes). Even then theres absolutely nothing wrong with use Blood series either so I don't see the issue. Lightstream units while a pain, I think is fine BUT i still consider a trade in of like idk 100-150 Stones to trade in for the Profound variant as a minimal. End raid gear is meant to stay strong for a very long time until the next best thing is out, theres no reason to powercreep that gear right away either.

    Crafting though may fix your issue while yes its been obsolete for a couple of years outside Crafting Techs/PA's, TA's etc, it may change up the power tier levels since Sega stated they're suppose to reach near or on par with power to 15*'s making 14*'s basically pointless. I really don't know what they're doing anymore.

    I wouldn't say much but be a bit on the lower end, field drops shouldnt be on par with end episode raid gear otherwise it makes that raid pointless in return. UH fields though are incredibly lazy content with the only relevant drops tied to new bosses making everything else a waste of time aka Wind & Rain EQ currently

    You have seasonal CF's and Leotina passes for weapon feeding along with junk 14*'s you dont want. I wouldnt mind a reduction though on grinding weapons, w/e saves me more grind fodder is fine.

    i think there a lot of problems with the game, but accessible affixing, both weps and units is not one of them right now. SSAs and being able to transfer them is enormous QoL over how we had to affix weps in the past. With how many cubes we've got now, doing 8s 200atk lightstream during a boost week costs only that of the booster basically. app/stat5(6)/persona rev/sentence(or mod)/grace is very forgiving to do, nor complicated. 8s mana is a pain in the ass, but if we're talking about accessibility to end-game affix, the one i listed is very close and incredibly easy.

    as for units, arks fever and persona rev make affixing 5, 6, even 7s units very easy during a boost week also. doing say ares/stat4/stamina4/arks fever/arks max/persona rev/grace is quite a nice stat balance, not that involved, and again not money intensive beyond the boosters. things like https://malulleybovo.github.io/PSO2AffixingAssistant/ make planning an affix easier than ever.

    i'll give you finding LS units is stupid af, idk why they're so random/rare, but affixing is only a monster if you're doing more complicated shit like mana, EV, astral, etc which are not needed for very reasonably balanced affixes. catalyst affixes i personally think need some sort of overhaul because combining more than one them is incredibly frustrating and just a gacha roll, but it's a personal choice to engage in any of them for now.

    who said mod on units??? for arks fever, you can use same unit bonus, it helps a lot for making 7s fever.

    Mod is kinda outdated affixing material with todays standards and easier materials. no point to it anymore unless its on a SAF or something

    Cant speak for Mil but personally I don't use Mod anymore (yeeted mod off my entire affixing plans long ago, and especially after Persona Reverie came out). Arks fever I do just for the 5 pp it gives (which, if you plan to make a unit with minimum 10 pp is already half the requirement). Arks max, I personally don't use as I find ability 3 much, much cheaper and because it also offsets the negatives of using Persona Reverie.

    But seriously though, affixing in general needs a rehaul or at least make it easier for most people to understand.

    Probably I misread because just above there was a mod or arks max for weapons.

    For 7S fever it is indeed relatively easy with the biggest cost being cubes. In fact what you laid out is almost an exact 1:1 of what I'm planning for my 7S now that I've stopped spending on gear updates and can start saving for endgame. Still, it's somewhat beyond what I'd picture most players are willing to bother with - and I'm saying that because even 4 slots with Soul Stat Stat Fever is already a lot for them to swallow.

    yeah of course the raid items should be better to be worth grinding for, I think the best approach would be to make other items on par or better in very specific situations and make the raid gear items the best "can be used anywhere anytime effectively" weapons, giving us weapons that may give additional support in specific situations would definitely be interesting, ultimately I think it'd be a way to still give us stuff to do even if we have the "best" since we could technically fill out specific niches with other weapons that just help a tiny bit more in some fashion, but doesn't tank your damage comparatively to use.

    i'm not really sure what you're doing for arks max to be expensive, but you only need 3 fevers to 100% it with a 40% without boost week. are you not expanding it yourself or something? also the 20 def loss from persona reveries results in 4 additional damage taken, so even if you had it on all 3 units and a weapon, you are taking 16 more damage, a laughable amount.
