As I thought, Wand's mechanics's really perverted... must keep practice on Bonus keys >_<

Wand is like, the easiest of the 3 to mob with, I don't think you're going to get much practice in bonus quests, considering the complicated part is bossing.

10) Any way to avoid parry causing you to not get a ja window at the end of the pa? I.e. whenever I use it I can't get a ja from the current pa.

If you mean Dual Blades, that happens because you spamed the parry button, you need to time it

Oh snap, I didn't know that happens because I barely ever use it more than once per animation unless I'm blocking stuff. That's good to know.

is there a certain condition that i must met before able to use etoile DS step counter?
sometimes when using DS i can do step to evade and it sounds DING! with yellowy thingie, but sometimes it doesn't blink like that. is it pure timing?

The enemy needs to be locked-on and you need to step forward, doesn't work in another direction

previously I was classifying weapon types by their affinity for mobbing/AoE or bossing/single target, but etoile seems to be more about enemy aggression levels. where wand is great against low-aggression, dual blades seem great against high-aggression, and doublesaber is somewhere in the middle. doublesaber seems like the hardest to master weapon, because you gotta be very precise with your inputs to get the most out of it.

swiki still doesn't have the frame data listed for et's moveset, so for now im mostly just using moves and combos that feel good to use. I can't really tell what's most effective unless something is really starting to take longer than I feel like it should.

I would swap double saber and dual blades in terms of enemy aggression. DS thrives when you can get a bunch of counters out. That said, wand is still really good at mobbing.

That was multiple pages back. It's not confusing at all that someone would miss it.

EDIT: Maybe Kril should put it on the first post? I get the feeling a lot of people don't pay attention to that though.
