Anyone else unable to finish the new story quests because of a bug?

After doing the quest "anata ga [lots of kanji I don't know]" once you only get a half crown and then you can do it again to select a new dialog option and proceed further.

Problem is after a while you are in a tiny area with a light and it asks if you want to proceed to some place and when you select yes, it asks if you want to turn back, BUT there is no way to select an answer because you only the single large button for proceed dialog.

Whether you select that or cancel out of the dialog, there is a short light fx showing the way to a wall but nothing else.
You cannot leave and you cannot interact with anything else.

Anyone else got that bug?

I was stuck there the first time until I got salty and decided to let the message stay for a while to see if something else happened and boom, realized it was a portal like EQs and LQs
