MAG Development: Apsaras

Hey All;

I figured I'd post my current MAG development strategy to make an Apsaras (goal: DEF=50, PWR=100, MND=50) for my character. Note that my character is a Whitill HUnewearl (type B), and this is only valid for Hunters of sections Greenile, Bluefull, Pinkal, Oran, and Whitill

With a fresh untouched mag... (stats are DEF/PWR/DEX/MND)

Feed it 10 Dimates
> Turns into Varuna, Stats are (6.00/4.50/0.50/0.00), LV10

Feed it 85 Monomates
> Stats are (10.25/13.00/0.50/0.00), LV23

Feed it 80 Monofluids
> Turns into Rudra, Stats are (14.25/13.00/0.50/8.00), Lv35

Feed it 93 Dimates
> Turns into Apsaras, Stats are (17.97/25.09/0.50/8.00), Lv50

Feed it 341 Sol Atomizers (ouch!)
> Stats are (35.02/100.11/0.00/8.00), Lv 143

Feed it 250 Antipara
> Stats are (50.02/100.00/0.00/8.00), Lv158 * IQ=200 here

Feed it 382 Difluids
> Stats are (50.02/100.00/0.00/50.02), Lv200 * Sy=120% here

This takes 1,241 items, 414 feedings, and around 25 hours. Expensive too (~350kMST). Also, since some of these items aren't always readily available (Soul Atomizers), it may take longer than that.

I plan on making more of these little strategies, if there is enough demand for it. Let me know if y'all want to see more of these! And who says MAG raising isn't an exact science =)

I would LOVE a guide to tell me how to get either Opa-Opa or that silly Pink ball MAG.

You want a silly ping ball mag? Er... A Madhu? Lemme know. I've got one, lvl 197. Tried to get it to change cause I don't like the way it looks.

Tillis, you can read my guide at gamefaqs.com on mags to find out how to get Opa Opa. But Iull just tell you here anyway. ^_^ Unfortunatly, you have to find a special MAG cell. Very rare. It shoud be called 'mind of or heart of' opa opa

They do change if you raise one statistic higher than another... but only at levels which are multiples of five. If you keep Mind above Dex until level two hundred, it should evolve.

Hey Tillis,
I have the silly pink ball thing A.K.A Madhu, I have a level 51 and a level 170. I will trade either for something with lots of power/defense. It needs to look cool though =). Oh, BTW NeoSigma, it only evolves if a stat is raised higher then the previously higher stat, like....your mag power = 52 and mind =51 and dex=20 def=20 if you raise mind higher than power it evolves because it surpassed the highest rating. Go read Nozedive's FAQ it's great.

Cool, wasn't aware that it only changed at lvls multiple of 5. Hehe, time to jack Pwr up to 100 and reach lvl 200 then.
