combat system

I got an idea 4 a new combat system. Its called Timer.

Example: there are 7 seconds on the clock.

Hary wll go first, in his 7 seconds he will attack

Dagon will do his tern. he attacks but hary only takes 67 damage; Hary had a good armor and barrier.

Isn't this what final fantasy 3 used?
