GC: Reseting Material usage?

Hey,
Is it still possible to reset the material usage on a character by playing through challenge mode? I'm not to happy with my HUcast's stats anymore and he is like level 153 and I don't feel like making a new one. Anyone have ideas? Thanks for any help.

I think it's random, but it still happens.

blah.. probably no. but whoever decided to put mat limits needs shot in the first place. maybe a hack can reset them, but thats lame to do that.

a mat limit isnt that bad of an idea a lot of times on dreamcast people who didn't cheat would get there duper friends to dupe mats to max out

I wouldn't mind resetting my characters Mats... I didn't know about the limit until it was too late, and I had way too many Evade Mats...

But I heard that by doing this, any techs over level 15 would revert to 15

yeah, i didnt know about the mat limit on characters till it was too late too i maxed out my fonewearl when she was about lvl 80... and now i have to suffer with mediocre mst... oh well... i found out that the rest of her stats will be max though

as for techs over 15, i dont think that would happen...

I personally think the material limit is a good idea. Otherwise, we would be having people using thousands of materials and everyone would be playing with every stat maxed out to 999. Then everyone would be the same and Battle mode would be useless. There would also be no such thing as multi-hit kills or the chance to try out combos.

Well, I just say start over or suck it up~every character I have made was "researched." I looked up the SecID, what how to max stats, and saw which weapons seemed totally awesome for them.
