PSOX-US: Possible New Weapons

Is is possible for sega to provide new weapons to download for xbox users? To think of them utilizing the harddrive and downloadable quest options, it would be great to download some new weapons. How bout a real DB saber(that doesnt suck), Gallons armor, Del Rols sheild, E.Shark saber, Lily armor, Dimenion Buster, Garanz armor, of maybe even the Pricipals yard stick.....

So what you are asking is whether ST will introduce new data, exclusively for the XBOX? The answer is no.

If you did download that data, it would have to be a mandatory download for all online x-box users, or the item would be invalid data to anyone else online. That, or they'd have to ban it online, which I'm sure would ruin the point.

Stalfos, I take it you're a GC player. If there is a required update to an Xbox Live game then you have to download and install the update before you can even play the game online. It's very convenient, the xbox takes care of it all for you. That was how the patch to stop shop duping/stealing on the xbox was distributed. So, in theory, if ST wanted to release Xbox-exclusive equipment, then it's definitely possible. The thing is that ST seems to have a very low priority on us in XLand... :/

Wouldn't they also have a problem since some people use memory cards for their characters to play at a friends, and the friend doesn't have online, so they don't have the item downloaded?

You have to have an XBL account to play the XBox version, so you have to be online to play it.

Ok, sorry only have Cube. But I thought all you needed was the kit for XBox Live, not necessarily an online account, and anyway wouldn't it be possible for them only to have an XBox Live account to play PSO but not a ST account, or would you download the info even if you are playing a different game?
