Can anybody confirm the development that Chocobos and Moogles are to be new playable classes soon?

I don't recall any official announcements about them... But why the hell would anyone want ot play as a Chocobo? So people could mount you and go for a ride?

I can understand Moogles, to an extent, but Chocobos?

ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."

I wouldn't have the slightest idea, though, from what I heard about how the game works, charging people for a ride and transferring the cash to your main character sounds like a good idea for some people.

The enemies don't give much Gil at all, and you'd be in serious money troubles if you don't have one of those Guilds at hand...

My monthly gaming magazine, Game Informer, said that they aren't playable.

The playable classes (according to them) are:
Humes- Humans, best all around characters
Galka- Wookie like cratures, male only playable, best physical attack
Tarutaru- Little Newman-looking things, physically weak, but best Magic, good Black, White, or Red Mages
Mithra- Elevn/Newman looking, Females only playable, hunters and theives
Elvaan- Elves, powerful, also have high mind and vitality

Ok, I see, that issue was from a few months ago, so I wouldn't really know.

Re-reading the statement from the person I heard this from, these classes are merely to provide support for other players in the game, so IF THIS RUMOR IS TRUE, then it's very likely you can act like a Chocobo Taxi.

And from what I see, Chocobos can hold more than one person (maybe at least 2 at the most), so a little riding fee wouldn't hurt.
