My friend keeps saying that the Dark Team can only use monster cards and that the Hero team can only use Weapon cards....Is this true? (sorry if there's already another post like this...too lazy to go through them all) I don't believe him, but i'd like to know for sure!
this is mostly true.
Arkz (dark) players can only play monster cards as weapons. they can use action cards and assist cards too.
Hero (good) players can only use weps, but they can also use Mags, and sheilds, slthought tey cant attack with them, they can increase HP and AP/TP, etc.
they can also use action and assist cards.
you need to start trusting your friend.
This Arkz/Hunter thing is the balance.
Arkz can theoretically attack from all sides from anywhere. They can use Attack cards from anywhere. When a monster is destroyed, they don't recieve the excess damage (except with certain cards).
Hunters can equip multi weapons, but have to carry it everywhere. That means the Hunter has to be where they want to attack. They recieve excess damage if a weapon is destroyed.
One thing I have a problem with is Arkz have a slight disadvantage. Not only is the summoner's power not added to the creature's, but the summoner has to spend more action points to move around each individual monster. I still prefer Arkz, I like the challenge.
