has anyone heard of the battle mode????
is it real or a rumor ?

It's a rumor.

Battle Mode was originally included in the Japanse beta test... but no one really used it, so it was left out of the general release.

It is not hidden somewhere on your disk, you don't feed your mag 60000 monomates and run around in a counterclockwise circle for two hours to get it. Just like the infamous "Cow Level," it does not exist.

I would have loved if they had put a server on that was PVP... or Duelable... These monotonus levels are beginning to bore me... I have always whated to go neck to neck with other hunters

why? It wouldn't be that cool. It's not like it really takes much skill to hack and slash. Sure you have spells, but it pretty much boils down to who has the most powerfull weapon or the best armor, or the highest level. And it's not like the battle system is extremely deep in combos or powerful motion moves. I wouldn't care either way if it was released or not.

Seutekh, it can be acessed in a VMU download.... its just that the developers don't know if it is worth a release.
