Separating Slimes generates blue flame... What the?!

On a game yesterday, we start looking for Orange Slimes, so a Force in the group begins RABARTA-ing the place to separate them. After the fourth separates, we see a blue flame in the center of the room! Later on, when we try again, the blue flame appears again after the fourth separates. Anyone got a clue on this?

I've noticed that whenever you kill a blue slime it turns into a blue puff quickly and then dissapears.

Hmmmm i know they shoot blue stuff and they do a blue puff thing when they die. But ive never heard of the blue flame thing..

I've seen that too,

I'm pretty sure it's just letting you know that you have split the slime as many times as possible. Or maybe it's just the dead trapped soul of the slime after you've ripped him into so many different pieces...

Heh, it's just a glitch. If you freeze it after it spits out the blue flame it will hang in the air.
