    You'll never get rid of me. Twenty years from now I'll be knocking down your door. I'll bring your kids presents. They'll call me "Uncle Jack"... even though I'm not really your brother. They'll start to love me more than they love you. They'll come to me for advice, they'll come to me for everything. They will love Uncle Jack so much. I can't wait. I'll love your kids. They'll be great. I'll wrestle and have tea parties with them. As they get a bit older, I'll coach their sports teams. Even later in their life, I'll give them sex advice and hand out condoms and birth control pills. I am everyone's father. You'll never get rid of me. This is you in twenty years-
    "Jack, get the f*ck away from my children!"

    Just thought I'd clear that up =D

    Hey, when I adopt a kid, be my guest to be "Uncle Jack" hehe. As long as your good to them, who am I to complain?

    Although, I'm VERY confused on how the hell you came up with that post hehe.

    Eh, no worries
    Look, he did it again.

    The Moon's Essence

    As The Moon Shines,
    And The Stars Glow.
    I Walk To You
    Through The Heavy Snow.
    The Sand Hits Me
    In The Desert Field.
    But I'm Harmed Not
    As You're My Shield.
    But The Moon Is Dark,
    And You're Not Here.
    Without Your Love
    I Fall In Fear.
    I Try To Fight It,
    With All My Might.
    Standing Here In The Darkness
    Without My Moon's Light.
    As You Are My Path.
    The Path I Shall Follow.
    You Were My Fullness
    And Now I'm Hollow.
    I Breathe Deeply,
    Longing For You.
    How Could Love Be Lost
    With Love So True.
    The Moon Rises,
    And Light Shines Down.
    I Walk To You
    In My Wedding Gown.
    This Is It,
    Our Love Is Sealed.
    The Moon Was My Guide
    To You I Feel.
    I Take Your Hand
    And Say I Do.
    Gone Before My Eyes,
    Please Say It's Not True.
    The Moon Was Wrong,
    It Sent Me A Lie.
    You Aren't Here,
    Can I Survive?
    The Question I Ask,
    Through Day And Night.
    I Begin Another Journey
    Under The Moon's Light...

    Thank you!!

    And if you didn't know, I make these poems right here when I post them. Take about 2 -3 minutes to do. I could be doing this all night! XD In fact, I've spoken rhyme on AIM and RO a few times. It's funny. (I never did it on PSO because your word boxes aren't large enough) x.x

    I think I'll do one more tonight.

    The Month of Love

    Back In January,
    When We First Met,
    Your Face Was Cute To Me,
    You Were My Little Pet.
    Some Time In February,
    You Asked Me Out.
    I Hugged You Closely,
    Your Name I'd Shout.
    Then In March,
    We Became Great Friends.
    This Infinite Happiness,
    I Hope This Moment Never Ends.
    Back In April
    My Heart You Stoled.
    I Sit Down Next To You.
    Your Hand I Hold.
    You Said You'd Leave
    Sometime In May.
    I Grabbed Your Arms
    For You To Stay.
    You Said You Couldn't
    During June.
    You Kissed Me Good-Bye
    Saying You'd Be Back So Soon.
    I Waited Here Just For You
    In The Warm Month Of July.
    The Fireworks Came Without You.
    The Thought Had Made Me Cry.
    August Had Come
    With No Sign Of Thee.
    You Weren't Here
    To Set Me Free.
    Months Ago You Said Good-Bye.
    Will I Be Alone This September?
    You Will Be Back...
    I'll Always Remember.
    October Has Come,
    You Missed Halloween.
    I'm Here Without You!
    I'm Goin to SCREAM!!
    Where Are You My Dear?!
    It's Already November!
    It's Been A Lifetime
    Since We Were Together.
    December Has Come,
    Christmas Is Here.
    But I Am Not.
    You're Without Me My Dear.
    I'm In A Better Place,
    Away From All Of This.
    My Entire Life All I Longed For
    Was A Kiss.......From You.

    (Needn't I explain what happened at the end...)

    I wished to post one of my favorite authors. A few poems, by Dorothy Parker.

    Indian Summer

    In youth, it was a way I had
    To do my best to please,
    And change, with every passing lad,
    To suit his theories.

    But now I know the things I know,
    And do the things I do;
    And if you do not like me so,
    To hell, my love, with you!

    Threnody

    Lilacs blossom just as sweet
    Now my heart is shattered.
    If I bowled it down the street,
    Who's to say it mattered?
    If there's one that rode away
    What would I be missing?
    Lips that taste of tears, they say,
    Are the best for kissing.

    Eyes that watch the morning star
    Seem a little brighter;
    Arms held out to darkness are
    Usually whiter.
    Shall I bar the strolling guest,
    Bind my brow with willow,
    When, they say, the empty breast
    Is the softer pillow?

    That a heart falls tinkling down,
    Never think it ceases.
    Every likely lad in town
    Gathers up the pieces.
    If there's one gone whistling by
    Would I let it grieve me?
    Let him wonder if I lie;
    Let him half believe me.

    Unfortunate Coincidence

    By the time you swear you're his,
    Shivering and sighing,
    And he vows his passion is
    Infinite, undying -
    Lady, make a note of this:
    One of you is lying.

    Renunciation

    Chloe's hair, no doubt, was brighter;
    Lydia's mouth more sweetly sad;
    Hebe's arms were rather whiter;
    Languorous-lidded Helen had

    Eyes more blue than e'er the sky was;
    Lalage's was subtler stuff;
    Still, you used to think that I was
    Fair enough.

    Now you're casting yearning glances
    At the pale Penelope;
    Cutting in on Claudia's dances;
    Taking Iris out to tea.
    Iole you find warm-hearted;
    Zoe's cheek is far from rough-
    Don't you think it's time we parted? . . .
    Fair enough!

    One Perfect Rose

    A single flow'r he sent me, since we met.
    All tenderly his messenger he chose;
    Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet-
    One perfect rose.

    I knew the language of the floweret;
    "My fragile leaves," it said, "his heart enclose."
    Love long has taken for his amulet
    One perfect rose.

    Why is it no one ever sent me yet
    One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
    Ah no, it's always just my luck to get
    One perfect rose.

    Men

    They hail you as their morning star
    Because you are the way you are.
    If you return the sentiment,
    They'll try to make you different;
    And once they have you, safe and sound,
    They want to change you all around.
    Your moods and ways they put a curse on;
    They'd make of you another person.
    They cannot let you go your gait;
    They influence and educate.
    They'd alter all that they admired.
    They make me sick, they make me tired.

    Observation

    If I don't drive around the park,
    I'm pretty sure to make my mark.
    If I'm in bed each night by ten.
    I may get back my looks again.
    If I abstain from fun and such.
    I'll probably amount to much;
    But I shall stay the way I am.
    Because I do not give a damn.

    Resume

    Razors pain you;
    Rivers are damp;
    Acids stain you;
    And drugs cause cramp.
    Guns aren't lawful;
    Nooses give;
    Gas smells awful;
    You might as well live.

    Will post some more later.

    I did some angsty teen poety too. But I don't like it. My favorite two I ever wrote back in "the day" was about my cat, an my car. I was going to share the one about my cat, but I can't find it. Then I can't find the car one. Grr!

    Oh well.
