Paper Mario! (on a scale of 1 to 9)

(wow, it's been like 8 months since i've posted here!)

So anyway, I'm really happy about the announced release of Paper Mario 2 since the first one is my favortie game ever... My friends don't agree and they didn't think it was that good. So.. If you've played it, what do you think on a scale of 1 to 9. (9 being the highest)

I actually never played the first one...but the 2nd looks like a 9 to me

paper mario was an awesome game so both deserve a 9

I haven't ever really given paper mario a chance. Back when the first one was in development they called it Super Mario RPG 2, which I was all for, but when they made it paper mario (and anounced that it would be in "2 and a half D") I lost all intrest in the game. I might try this new one though.

dont get me wrong, it was a good game, not great. it had a lot of other things to do besides go through the main plot, collecting badges, the casino, to name a few. but after youve done that, there was nothing left, doing that stuff wasnt fun or worth my time. also, as good as the story line was, it was too short, i mean you could sit down and beat the game in 8 hours if you hadnt played it yet(i think it was 12 or 13 hours for me). and after you beat it, there was no real reason to play it again unless you wanted to beat faster.
for an rpg, it was to short and had no replay value, keys for a good rpg. but it did have unique and fun game play, a good story, and a lot of stuff t look for. thats why i gave it a 6.

The original Paper Mario was great, but I loved Super Mario RPG a lot more. So for Paper Mario 2 that will be coming, I'm giving it a 7.5 for now until I may change my mind when I will be playing it.

yeah. super mario RPG was the best mario game. knocked paper mario out. defenately a great game to keep. I have the ROM and emulator too.

I think Super Mario RPG was pretty cool too... but I was like 7 when I had a SNES, so I didn't really get to play it because of my older brother. Paper Mario was awesome to me... the only bad part was the ending. After you beat the game, the last scene never ends so you have to restart from where you last saved. Dammit.

The second one looks absolutely rockin'. Not exactly a 9, but I haven't even played it yet.
