I thought the defense disable only worked if you used no ACs when attacking..so wouldn't using a tech be considered using an AC, therefore nullifying the def disable?

    Hm...
I'll add that on my list of things to test.

Can someone explain to me the purpose of TP and how it works? It's been puzzling me ever since I picked up Episode 3 like a year ago

TP is used as Tech damage. If you use a Technique, it will add damage to it like AP does to normal attacks.

So let me get this straight, say I use a gun with a TP+2, and then a technique with a TP+3. Say I would do 5 damage thanks to AP, now you're saying that after using the technique, my ap will be raised from 5 to 10?

Say you have a weapon with 2 TP/4 AP and you use a tech with 3 TP. You'll do 5 damage (2 TP + 3 TP).

Oh okay, so the TP replaces the AP? In your example, the AP is completely unused.

For Tech Attacks, yes. Techniques use totaled TP for damage, instead of AP.

There are also other effects that use TP to add to AP, such as TP power (which takes TP and adds it to AP) and AP/TP Swap (which switches AP with TP).

Well technically, with tp power you arent taking away the tp, it just increases physical attack damaged based on your tp, isnt it?
At least, thats what it does with alive aqhu

Hmm about the "Change Attack" card... or that "TP Attack" card?
