I came from Ragol, and all the not-sense that makes with it.

so people might stop asking here are all the factors that effect what cards you get:

    Battle Rank: (S A+ A B+ B C+ C D+ D E)
this does nothing except determine the number of cards you get after a battle

Character level: (do I really need to explain this?)
Certain cards will only drop for people who have grown to or beyond a certain level I.E. Gran Scorc. will only drop to someone level 20 or higher

    Tornament Rank: (online ranking system)
depending on your rank name (NOT your rank number) certain card drops will be granted.

    Rank: no benefits

Rookie: 4 cost item and monster drops are increased

Senior: R 2 and R 3 ranked cards drops are more common

Master: R 4 and some SS ranked cards (Chao+ Indi Belra+)will now drop

Champ: card evolution % goes up by 10 (default % depends on quantitiy of a certain card)

Lord: S cards drop rate increased (very slightly)

King: All S and SS cards that can be obtained by drops are unlocked regardless of character level (this sounds far fetched but proven true by friends of mine)

God: affects unknown, I dont know any of the ten gods

Deck choice: (Blue, Red, Green, Black)
Blue yeilds more defensive items guard creatures and defense cards than the others
Red yeilds more Tech and Support monster and item cards than the others
Green yields more item cards than any other (good choice for those of us who like to play hunter more than arkz)
Black yeilds more monster cards than any other (good choice for those of us, like myself, who think heroes suck )

well I hope that helps someone!
if not oh well I tried
    Episode III for Life.

This helps. I just started playing Episode 3 today, infact. I am having a great deal of fun with it and was about to ask this. Thanks.

I've known people that were just starting the game and found these online by level 3.

Exactly how did you come to these conclusions?

I read it on PSOW, so it must be true

Chao+ dropped for 2 of my friends at Clv 1 Online (Kyle and Jason, and I still don't have one >_>)

Agreed. Online rarities are mostly based on Clvl, same with offline. However, since Sega has tweaked online rarities, several are a bit easier or harder to find, skewing this.

You know... the past FESTIVAL (from April or May) is still in effect, so getting the 10 SS cards is easy now.

Cross Scar is still insanely strong. 8hp +3ap +4tp. x.x

This helps. I always wondered if the ranking system had a practical use, or if it was just for bragging rights.

Considering the original poster hasn't returned to post any evidence, take his claims with a grain of salt.
