If it's a weapon that you find tons of and don't care about, then I wouldn't worry about it (you could even just donate it for team points on BB.) If its a really nice rare that you will be wanting your char to use, then I would definitely make it a good tek. Also if its something that you'll be giving to someone else for a trade, you'll want to tek it properly for them.

As for the time it takes, well.....thats random so I can't really give you an exact answer of how long it takes. Fairly early into the game, meseta is so easy to get that I wouldn't even worry about how much money it takes to tek a nice rare.

once you get to vhard/ult money stops becoming a problem, just pick up any blue boxes and ??? weapons you see and tekk and sell them. I've had 999,999 in the bank and 500,000+ on me, got FSOD'd, and had the 500,000 back in a few days.

Good point. Just tek it for money if you don't care about %s, but tek it as best you can if you need it to actually server a purpose.


Maybe I missed something, but tell me againg why this is in the 'Cheaters' section?

I only put it here because I heard that if an item has -% then it is a hack or cheat so.......yeah.
