Heh, just got the 'The Character File in Memory Card Slot A is corrupt...' on Ep3..

I know the methods to possibly solve this on Ep1/2, but with this being the Character File, is there no way to rectify this (without restarting over, which I'm not doing)

    Tried:
    Blowing memory card/memory card ports
    Power on/off/on
    Loading game with cover open.
    Memory card switching.
All havent worked so far, so I reckon it's hopeless, but just wanted to know if there's anything else I can do?

Can you read any of the other files on the memory card? If so, have you tried deleting your guild card information?

Tried another game's gamesave- worked fine.

I didnt think deleting a Guild Card file would resolve it, since it's apparently the Character File that's corrupt.. I'll try that tomorrow though.

If you can play another game with a save on the 'corrupted card', your card cannot be corrupt.

The card might not be corrupt, but a piece of its data can be.
One question first, is it an official memory card?

Tried Ryna's method, didnt work. Also tried getting temp data from that card, couldnt (just got the 'character file in slot B is corrupt.'

Thing is, Ive played Lord of the Rings: return of the king fine, using game saves from that memory card....

You can back up your memory card... there are ways I can't tell you here. But if you ever find a way to do it safely, go with it. But don't bother asking how on this website.
