MA2 map...

i've heard that enemies in certain rooms of the spaceship in MA2 cannot drop rares, or anything at all for that matter. i've also heard that there is a map floating around that shows which rooms those are. can anyone help me out with this? thanks in advance.

The one thing that thread doesn't entirely confirm (or maybe I'm just dense...) is whether or not those "No Drop Zones" are ONLY in MA2 or in Spaceship, period. VioletSkye's test dealt only with the GC version, so I bet it's safe to assume that that also means they don't drop for Xbox, either.

I think that's just for Spaceship in general, I can't find one specifically for MA#2..

To uriko - from what i understood it applies to specific rooms in the space ship area.
To Trystan - yes it means for xbox also.
To O.P - In the MA2 quest, there are 2 routes you can take in the spaceship 1 has 7 baranz the other has 10 - its the way with 10 of them that the drops are disabled for.

that actually does help a bit. that's the route that starts out with all the delsabers, right? and you get there through the hildebear route in the temple?

What about regular Spaceship runs? Are there certain rooms with that glitch defect as well? >.>

Last I heard, the same rooms that were marked have the same problem - no rare drops.

Sorry i dont remember been a long time since i went hunting in ma2 but when i did it 2 of us went and 1 of us went each way this is when we noticed the drops for 1 of the routes baranz NEVER dropped ANYTHING not even green or blue boxes.

Just out of interrest what is it you are hunting?
