Does piping reduce drop rate of normal enemies?

Canune never drops so i pipe go kill it again...still nothing....6hrs later nada!

canane hardly ever drops anything... it likes dropping normal items far more then it does rare items.. i think ive only gotten one rare from it.. like a Blade Dance or somthing.. and that was a while ago...

If you kill the Canane and pipe it back, it won't drop anything else. Almost like with Pofuillies and Pan Arms.

yepp, you can only re-kill them for exp when piping cana-rings... they will only drop something the first time and never again (until you restart the whole stage).
