How is the Episode 3 online community?

I was thinking about getting back into PSO Ep3, but was wondering if getting a hunters liscense for it would be worth it. So I was wondering if someone could fill me in on the online community and how its been doing. Thanks for the info. Long live PSO!

yes! we need another person online! The community is merope 2-c1, and it consists of around 10 or so eng, a few germans, and lotsa jp... but there may be more, i hvnt been on for 2 weeks

I'd love to get back on, and so would my friend. The only problem is money issues right now, and the fact that we'd be starting at Lv1 for both offline and online (memory card crapped out, lost all files, reason I stopped playing online all those months ago). If it's worth it, I'll most likely do it. Otherwise, I'd much rather put my time into offline since I found it's easier and faster to level up there.

Realistically speaking, the Episode 3 online community is very small at this point. Finding a game can be difficult unless you arrange games ahead of time or know exactly where to look.

The glory days of 2003/2004 are long-gone.

Events like the Fumitsu and dengeki cups
Many friendly players to trade and battle with.
Double GC, "GOD" rank obsessed players. haha.

Current state, don't think its really worth your money.

Okay, so now another question pops up: Will people be able to play with a Clv 1 Character? I dont want to go around playing with Clv 36's and such, I would like a fair game (if at all possible). Otherwise, sounds like it would be worth a try to at least see how much has changed since I got off. Once I get my Gamecube back I'll start offline, and maybe I could be online as early as this Wensday.
