How do you hurt it?
How do you hurt it?
1) Kill the COLORED spinning blade.
2) Destroy the crysals on his tail. If not all are destroyed, repeat step 1 and 2.
3) Follow him to the outside of the arena, destroy 1 (or 2 if you are lucky) crystals.
4) Return to the center and finish the job.
It just is a rock though. There isn't anything to attack!
I fought the boss last night, I didn't last long though. I think my friend got him out but even he doesnt know what he did to make it appear.
Walk up to the Booger Rock. That should trigger him. Then get ready to be annoyed by swarms of different, and more annoying, Darvants.
After that, follow Dre's advice to beat him.

Walk to the Meteor Fragment. That will trigger the boss fight.
For the first phase, look for the spinner with a red top. By destroying that, the boss will emerge from the ground and be stunned for a long time. You can also destroy the orange/yellow ones, and these will make the boss emerge, but for a much shorter period.
When the boss is emerged, attack the coloured crystals on his raised tail (Red for Saint-Milion, Blue for Shambertin, Green for Kondrieu). After destroying all of these, a cut-scene will play, and the fight will advance to its second phase.
For the second phase, you have to destroy the 4 coloured crystals around the boss' neck. There are no spinners to stun it this time, but there are many attacks to avoid, like missiles, beam attacks, tornadoes, and attacking spinners.
After destroying all 4 of those, the boss dies.

I posted that a while ago, try using Forum Search, it helps.
He's quite easy if you are not underleveled.
1st phase
See the spinning feelers? they have different colours on the top, most are white, some are yellow, orange or red.
Go for the red one, orange if you cannot seem to find the red one, but not yellow (unless there are only yellow, but that only happens in Ultimate difficulty afaik, and is quite rare); do not attack the white ones.
Do not hesitate to use Zalure and Jellen on them, though.
When you destroy a yellow, orange or red feeler, the boss will be stunned (you will hear it scream), and its tail will stand out somewhere on the battlefield, go for it and use a slicer, shot or needle to destroy the four "gems" it has on the tail.
If you do not have time to break all gems, you will have to resume looking for a yellow/red/orange feeler to stun it again and take care of the remaining gems until all are destroyed.
Main tip: avoid taking down the yellow feeler, it is better to waste some time on finding the red one, even if the yellow one is right in front of you.
2nd phase
The boss will escape in the north-eastern grotto (use Area Map from menu if you are lost), simply take him head on. Its head is now visible, and so are the four gems on its neck, that is what you must destroy, using a slicer, shot or needle(so you can hopefully destroy several at a time, making the fight much shorter).
As soon as you kill one (or more) gem, the boss will withdraw underground, and move to another location south of the map, where you must repeat the gem-killing process.
If you have not killed all the gems by now, it will move to one of the three grottos north of the map, randomly, look for it and keep at it.
It should die pretty fast, as long as you aren't underleveled.
It is a bad idea to solo this boss, as a general rule.
Main tip: do not use one-on-one weapons, especially not mechguns.
Walking up to the rock didn't help. Four people walked every inch of the room and no battle started.
