Clarification please.. on hacks affecting drop rates

Sorry if I sound newbish, I've been playing for about 4 years, and am just getting back into PSO after about a one year break. I just searched the forums, and didn't find a definite answer...

I know that hacked weapons/armor/etc. do not affect drop rates. Do MAGs about level 200 affect it? What about hacked ones 200 and below? (0/0/0/200 Sato)

Also, is this only on PSO Plus? or on the original as well?

By the way, I have Gamecube, and my curiousity is because I haven't found a single rare since I started again, and I've been only on VHard and Ultimate and have played well over 20 hours.

Anyway to the OP, hacked mags level 200 and under do not affect rare drops.

The only thing that affects drop rates are mags over 200 and weapons with abnormal hit %. Nothing else. Just put the item in the deposit (or drop it), quit the game and you can find rares again.

Totally incorrect. I've already said this a million times already. %'s on weapons DO NOT AFFECT THE DROP RATE!!!!!!

Mags over level 200 and stacks are THE ONLY THINGS THAT AFFECT DROP RATES!!!!!

You made a mistake. As I've said numerous times already, %'s (even irregular %'s) do NOT affect rare drop rates.
