Did anyone else try out the 2 new online quests?. Both of
them are in the mines. The first one gives you 5 minutes (!?!?!) to go
through and clear out a bunch of monsters from the mines. The second one is
similar to the quest in the caves where there is a room at teh end that has
an "endless stream" of monsters to fight, except in this case most of the
mines is darkened (with no light switches) and there are TONS of monsters on
the way there.
Anyways, first 2 of my friends and I (a level 96 RAcast and a level 84
FOnewm) go and try to do the second one. In the first room there is one of
those green tanks and dozens of Gillchics! After the tank was gone it was
pretty easy, but then 2 rooms or so later (this one was pitch black) there
were no less than 8 Sinow Beats attacking at once! They totally shanked me
by attacking at the same time, same with my partners. We regrouped at teh
doorway and were able to beat them but then the servers pooped out and we
never got back to the quest. We probably could have beaten it eventually,
but daaaamn, it was very difficult.
Later on i was with another friend (level 76 FOmarl) and we tried out the
first one. In the second or so room, we got assaulted by a group of Sinow
Golds (only 3 or so) but that was enough to give us a hard time. So
anyways, she had just been revived by me, and then I died, but because the
time limit ran out we both got warped back to the guild office, leaving my
Flowens Sword +9 and her Double Saber +20 behind in the level! And after
the stupid guild lady says "hey you suck better luck next time" then it
freakin' booted us to the lobby! We lost all of our money we had on us and
our coolest weapons, just because of that stupid quest's time limit.
Anyways, anyone tried/beaten those quests yet? (on v.hard anyways, cuz
thats what i'm talking about)
