Well, basically. what ever PA you use on it becomes the element..
Gunz-whichever type of bullet you get determines element
Wand-Majority of techs binded to it.

so basically, no they do not come pre-elemented. Some do though (^_^)
swords need to be synthesized with a different element. Basically when you're synthing you get a wildcard spot for your photon, and different element photons give different element results.
