Party Chat Question (PC Version)

Is there an easier way to type in Party Chat? For instance, I know that if I press f12 I can switch between public and party, but then I have that irritating chat log that stays on the left. Is there any type of simple button combination to do?

For instance, if you hold Tab when you press Enter you can see the Facial Expressions. Is there anything like this that will just automatically make my message only in Party Chat?

It gets irritating to have to cycle through f12 when chatting in/out of party chat.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I have tried a lot of different things but haven't found anything and no one else seems to know a way to do it either.
