I didn't receive a warning in regards to my signature or a request to remove it. It was simply removed and my ability to use a signature or personal title disabled.

That's a bit harsh, don't you think? Not like my signature was really that bad. It was just a link to an image which text changed but incorporated the word "AIDS" into it.

I really don't think it was that offensive and, to me, it was quite funny.

For those who didn't see my signature, it was

.. which, when you refresh it, changes every time.

If you had simply told me that the signature was inappropriate or against the rules of the website, I'd have gladly changed it.

The only thing I could think of that would come close would be the offensive rule:

Offensive Posts
Respect EVERYBODY in the forum, everyone is equal. Posting in an offensive manner is not tolerated. No discriminatory or derogatory remarks. Racist remarks, derogatory statements about another religion or belief, or ethnocentrism will result in banning. Posts with the following content is not tolerated: Vulgar, profanity, sexually explicit, racism, enthnocentrism, bashing a particular religion, gender or nationality or sexual orientation. We will not tolerate hate language, harassment or threats. We will not allow posts linking to sites with such content or posting pictures of that nature. Choose your vocabulary wisely, do not call people "Gay" or use the offensive term "JAP". Whether your using the word offensively or not, do not use such slurs. Do not make posts that are unlawful, harmful, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, misinformative, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, harms minors in any way, degrading, intimidating or hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability. Blanket statements towards a whole race, country or culture is not allowed.

But, what's offensive to some, may not be offensive to others.. so it's really subjective, right? No one PM'd me asking me, staff or not, saying "Your signature offends me, please remove it."

So I really don't think any action should have been taken against me.

Now, if you'd re-enable my signature and personal information, I'd be greatful.. thanks.

(The only other time I was ever warned about my signature was maybe almost 2 years ago when I had an MP3 posted in it.. so it's not like I break the signature rule on a daily basis.)
