It's like that in other games, too.

Amusing fact: Aion released not one, but
three types of swimsuits within its first year. Also, like PSO2, they were released entirely through an RNG system, though unlike PSO2 it didn't use real-world currency.
I really don't know what it is with Eastern developers and their love of RNG...

Yeah, no, I don't believe this. If we define sexism as "preferential treatment for one sex" the sexism is
definitely worse on this hemisphere. Female characters in the East get a lot more variety in how they are treated, which alone increases my respect meter. Again, Western female characters all trend along the exact same archetype, with minor modifications, while the males actually get to have some variety. That is definitely far, far worse than having the occasional fanservice.

Yeah, no, for the purposes of this thread I am only talking about the character creation, and using that as a basis they definitely seem considerably less racially biased than the western developers. Anything
outside of that is beyond the consideration of this thread or my post, so why even bring it up?
Also, considering the Japanese are xenophobic to
all foreigners, I really don't think calling them "racist" is topical anyways.

Yeah, sure, but it's a complete waste of time when the developer doesn't speak English and the complaints are directed entirely at other players, especially when there are developers that
do speak English where this criticism is considerably better to level at. Even then, that's not really the issue here when the
real issue is pervasive throughout society. The developers are just a reflection of what society breeds, after all.
I have the same problem with people who complain about prices and having to pay for services and things like that - if they hate capitalism so much, they should be working against
that, not complaining about people trying to work the system to their advantage (since that is absolutely the most rational thing to be doing in a system that encourages exploitation in all its forms). Bigger picture, man.
