    Hey, fellas. I need someone's opinion to help my decide.

    New weapon series seems to have intersting latent, kinda stimulate you to be a bit more skillful about your combat behaviour. But those stones a bitch to collect, since I don't all that much time, plus my main (Fi) have all the weapon types 14* already. Minus Zere weapons don't have as much native attacks.

    So... if someone obtained and grinded a Zeres how does it feel, compared to current mid-pretop 14*? Worth to invest time into, could it make fights more engaging due to it's dynamic pot?

    the stones are not hard to get when literally everything in the forest drops the crystals, 1 hour of forest should net you 300-500 stones

    Because it would make it a lot harder to gather 12 people at the same part of the map at any time if they kept the old format. As I said in my previous post, this is an accessibility feature. Which also makes me wonder why they didn't just add Elzelion in UQ but instead decided to change how an established quest works.

    Also enemies in Free Fields are "supposedly balanced" for a group of 4 people, with more people present just upping the stakes in spawns and Emergency Code objectives. This means that it should require normal time investment from a party of 4 average people to complete the quest. It should still be doable by an average solo player, but it should require significant more time to get equally as far. Elzelion however, like all 85 bosses so far and UQ enemies, is balanced for average 12-man groups.

    By "average" above I mean your regular casual player who logs in for his daily stuff, not your theorycrafting/optimizing type of player who can kill lvl85 bosses before the announcer mentions it's a Capture.

    My guess is they want to streamline free field quest format to something like facility/UQ since it's the best compromise for both solo/small parties (no arbitrary point limit that could completely fuck you over then that sweet lv80 Apostolo comes and you'd have to take 10 minutes to solo it just to get points to go further) and mpas (it's easier to run around without time/point limit than constantly restarting a quest every 5 minutes (looking at you Amduscia UQ)

    The quest was also made to cater to people whining for XH free fields without them becoming absolutely obsolete right as they come. I mean if you removed Elzelion and its campaign from this, the field would become absolutely pointless ( which will happen in one month)

    Also, Elzelion is a fun boss that actually lasts long enough to show you most of its patterns (which are super pretty and cool btw). Unless you want it to meet the fate of lv80 enemies in UQ (that feel when Anga isn't more than a a glorified punching bag)

    Which reminds me, all Emergency Codes have been indirectly "nerfed" reward-wise, because they are not affected by Daily Triboost, or any other boost for that matter. Maybe Sega should explore the possibility of increasing EXP, Meseta and item rewards from Emergency codes by, say an additional 200%, to make it more appealing to execute them. Or even give "rare" rewards from them like Karaage, Excube... My Shop 3 Day Pass...

    i don't think xh fields are going to fall off in relevancy since they're sources of crimson dragon 14* weapons that don't involve listening to JAMADA in addition to dropping certain og 14* weapons (and invade nt!). rotate a weekly drop rate boost between xh free fields and ultimate quests and they'll have a decent rotating downtime grinding map to pass the time while gently nudging players in a certain direction.

    naberius is boring as hell though and there's not even any big strong omega hunars to entertain me. at least i'll get to play with cursed radiance in caves. super weird it requires 75/75 when you can still start up ultimate lilipa at 70/x though. guess fang banther really was more dangerous than falke leone all along.


    e: give captured enemies a like 2000% rdr/exp bonus or something so we can fill up our inventories with eight ouncers

    I think it has no relation towards our power. If it's one of the "pug" issue, then yeah maybe. If the mpa made an effort to do so, no matter how strong we are this is never an issue. I believe the real issue is its reward is no good than the effort to do it, so killing it gives a "better" reward than clearing it successfully.

    The problem with capture is that the enemy dies before you notice you're supposed to capture it because the E-Trials are delayed af in this game. For some reason wee need to waste a few seconds on the operator saying stuff before the E-Trial animation pops up and if you have overlapping E-Trial animations this delay can be extended by dozens of seconds.

    Also neither Capture, Collect nor escort compliments the gameplay style of UQ-like maps where you run around commiting genocide to the map. You need to stop whatever you're doing to deal with them slowly and the rewards aren't breathtaking either. Overall flawed and outdated concepts and especially during PSE bursts don't expect me to commit to them.
