Online with PC PSO?

Is anyone online with it? I mean the import version.

still awaiting for the package but you pose an intresting question: Is anyone here live in japan or something so it's not imported? I can understand people here are form all over the world but isn't import from for everyone besides japan?

Are the Japanese online with it? Do they need an HL? So many questions. If they get online, I wonder if they can play with PC people.

Can the US windows even play japanese cd-roms? I heard it cant..

#1- A specific HL for the PC version is needed.

#2- The PC players have their own separate servers to play on.

#3- The PC version has only been released in Japan.

#4- (edit for Steve) - The JPN version is FULLY ready to go in an english Windows installation. It even explains the process for signing up (provided you have a serial#/key#) in english. It's quite READY for an english release. There are even two versions of the opening movie with the japanese and english text depending on the system it's run on. CD's aren't regional, it will play anywhere.

It's the same as it's always been. They go to their local uh.. Electronics Boutique type place, they buy it, take it home, pop it in their PC, and install it. They get an HL, they go online, they play. It's no different than with DC, they just use a PC, on a separate network only for PC players.

Correct. I am curious how many people are on, as I might be interested in checking it out. I am curious how portable my character is.. I would like to be able to use my laptop to play when I am on the road.

Indeed i am curious about the travel as well, because I have a laptop as well so it would be fun to build my char on the road.

I heard it costs $8 a month for a HL for pc pso. But I'm not 100% sure.
