Default Crash when switching to Japanese keyboard setting

What title says. I wanted to write "norimasu" and crashed out of TD3. It used to have a small freeze before, then it freezed for a minute, now it crashes completely. My system is Windows 8.1, everything is up-to-date, I am using Item Translation and Cyberkitsune's proxy (if that affects it).

EDIT: system language is Russian. I know MS can fuck it up like that.

Have you tried changing your System Locale to Japan, since Most Japanese Games expects your settings to be in Japan and calling up some Japanese symbols in other Locale Settings can mess up JP Games.

    My System Language is English
    My System Locale is Japanese
I have no problem switching keyboard IME's(Input Method Editor)

just a little bit of info on shortcut to switch IME's
ALT-~ (tilde): Cycles between kana and direct input mode
    ALT-SHIFT: Cycles through available languages
ALT-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to katakana input mode
CTRL-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to hiragana input mode
SHIFT-ALT: Switches between English mode and Japanese mode.
Control - ~: Switches between the current input mode and the English mode within the Japanese IME.
