Finally after a little over 420 hours of gameplay span over 2-3 years I finished everything I wanted to do in Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together. Great game, good story and lots of side quests, hidden chars, unique and rare gear to farm and awesome unique classes (though I hated that you have to level them from scratch, which is a pain if your entire party is lv50).

Guess it is time to give my PSP some rest and touch my 3DS that hasn't had any attention yet every since I got it last year around Christmas. Now the issue is, Zelda Link between Worlds or Tales of the Abyss...which to play first...

Started Final Fantasy: Crisis Core, but I've only made it past the Wotai mission. Seems like an alright game, but I'm not really feeling the combat system. I actually miss the old RPG combat systems of the PSX and earlier eras, and it seems like each time I pick up a more modern JRPG I have to learn a whole new set of arbitrary gimmicks that aren't fun. I don't mind switching things up and introducing new gameplay elements, but they should serve an integral and intuitive purpose in the game - rather than just being tacked on for the sake of making it different than other games. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Mostly I'm still working on my mod so I haven't had time to play much else, but I've been putting some time in with a few mobile games when I have the chance. Most of them are shovelware crap that quickly gets binned, but there are a few I like. Order & Chaos Online seems like a pretty impressive MMO for a handheld, but I'll probably delete it soon since 2GB is a bit much for my phone. Bubble Witch Saga 2 tends to take up most of my time, since it's basically a modern Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move, and I loved that game. I've been emulating GBA and PSP titles as well, but using the touch screen as a controller is wonky and near impossible to use proficiently. But, being able to whip out my phone and play a bit of Persona 3 is pretty awesome.
