Hello, I just tried signing up. I was able to make my sega ID, and I signed up for PSo2 (or could of been PSO2 newsletter)

ファンタシースターオンライン2 (8th one down.) is the one I filled out.
Shortly afterwords I got a e-mail, and then I got some disconnect error saying start from the beginning but the button is greyed out. I never got to a screen to fill out a phone number or address.

I used buri-chan alternate link to download the client since the PSO2.JP wont download the downloader. (Thanks BTW Buri-chan)

I'm just completely lost. Am I okay or do I have to make a new ID to play the open Beta?

Is the disconnect error showing up at the launcher, in game, or on the registration process? FYI, the servers are down until tomorrow 2PM Japan time for maintenance, so if the error is in the launcher/game, well, that's why.

edit: Wow, problem solved. its either a IP block or a ISP problem, soon as I went through a proxy it worked like a charm.

Hey, can this guide mention what you need to get S Rank in a mission? None of the other guides/stickies seem to say it, and I guess this would be the best thread to put that info in.

S Ranking a mission requires two things:

Killing a non-specified amount of enemies, or completing a non-specified amount of goals. Basically to make you do things.

You cannot die. Or, if you do, wait for a teammate you revive you. Going to the ship puts an incapacitation number on you and means the score YOU (not the team) gets by 100.
