Default What's The Best Way to Play PSP1 and Develop Types

The first time i played psp1 i maxed out all 3 basic types before starting into the acromaster.

but this time i'm considering a different approach.

i'm thinking of using chapter 1, 2 and 3 to develop the hunter and the force and then using free missions to develop the ranger. and then switch over to the acromaster for the other types again to do free missions and max the base types out

am i on the mark? or just talking out of my ass?

I like to go through the entire story and max out one type of class. Ie, Ranger and Gunmaster. Then I take the game's offer to reset the character's story progress and do it again with a different class. Ie, Hunter and Fightmaster. And I just do that until I have all classes maxed. Then it's time to do stuff like max your level and farm for rares.

so you can restart the story once you complete it?

can you up the difficulty like in psp2?

i'll admit your idea is a good one, but it's really easy to max out the base types. i mean under normal circumstances you can have all 3 base types maxed out by chapter 6, i'm more or less trying to figure out how to plan things out so that i can get the base types to their required and then use the hybrid class to soak up as many of the points gotten from story missions as possible since it takes a while to level up the advanced types

You can not make it more difficult. When you go to load up your save you press triangle or something and it will let you copy your character and start the game over with whatever you're wearing and your levels.

None of your items carry over so don't get too excited.

Don't think so. Basically just what you can carry on your back and in your head.
