I take it that this is the only known program that allows AA in PSU? From what I recall, it's been tried before with many other programs, and none of them worked.

Oh my. Will be trying this tonight. :3~
Thank you for the info.

Yeah, with this program, all translucent textures are black to me. Very annoying and not worth the AA. anyone have a fix?
I already tried the Compatibility:STALKER option.
I'm using a GTX 7900 but can still run the game very well with superfiltering.
EDIT: Even turning off Nhance I get the stupd transparency-rendered-in-black texture bug ><
Here's some examples.
Eww
Horrible. x_x

Get the newest drivers. Updating from 175.19 to 181.22 fixed it for me.

Still looks ugly imo.
This game's textures are just wayyyy too bland to me.
I'm actually using the NVIDIA control panel that comes with my graphics card, and I find that with the newest update 181.22, that it works exactly the same, (maybe even better) than the Nhancer.
The advanced settings, let you set specific settings for each game/program on your computer.

It didn't let me install nHancer. I got a message that reads:
"nHancer can not be installed on systems with .NET
Framework version smaller than 2.0"
I have no idea what that means so I tried Zantra's approach. I updated my NVIDIA to 181.22 and tried changing the anti-aliasing options but it didn't help. If anything, it made PSU look grainier! I don't have any experience with this sort of thing so maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Here's what I did so far: After updating to 181.22, I went to Nvidia Settings > Performance & Quality Settings > Antialiasing Settings. In the Program Settings tab, I went to "Add program." There were four AoI .exe files and I wasn't sure which one to use so I tried all four. I went to "Antialiasing - Setting" and changed it to 4x, then clicked "Apply." When that didn't work I tried it on 8xS. That didn't work either, so I gave up. (I tried PSU in both windowed and full screen mode)
Is there something else I'm supposed to do? Did I do something wrong? Can anyone help me out?

well, I tried using this and I ended up getting the black bars. I tried updating my driver, and that didn't work. I then uninstalled nHancer and then restarted my comp. For whatever reason, I still get those black lines (even with the program gone). Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
PSP2: Vyser (CAST Ranger), Captain Flavor (Beast Hunter), Amu (Force Newman)
PSU PC: Vyser (CAST AF/GM), Captain Flavor (Beast FF), Konata (Newman MF), Sportacus (Human AT)
PSØ JP: あかヴァイザ (HUcast), フレヴァさま (FOnewm), ラムレーズ (HUnewm)
Well here's my computer info...
(I'm only using 2x AA BTW...)
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz
4GB of RAM
Windows XP Service Pack 3
Direct X 9.0c
Nvidia GeForce 8600GT
And, I only play at full screen, because windowed mode makes strange things happen.
Not sure if this helps, but there must be something about my settings that gets it to work.
Every setting on my graphics card is the factory setting, except for AA, which (like I said before) is set @ 2x.
Also, I run my PSU:AOI @ all settings maxxed with 0 Frame skip.

I think you're going to have to put your disc in, like you're going to install/unistall the game (I can't remember which), and when you get to the install/unistall menu, you're going to want to hit the repair button.
Hopefully that will fix it, if not you may have to completely unistall the game, and then re-install it. Which is not that much of a problem, because I believe that the PC version has the option of saving your game info, of course (once again) i'm not 100% sure, because i've never had to unistall PSU.
