Anga Fundarge is specifically mentioned to be from an alternate timeline. It also qualifies as a darker for COs that specify darkers, despite its categorization as a Distorted Creature (which is its own unique enemy categorization), so there's a clear connection between it and darkers. Presumably, SH cores look the way that they do because they're more advanced infection cores. Since [Persona] is the only other entity specified to be from another timeline, there's presumably a connection between [Persona] and Anga Fundarge. Since [Persona] has the closest ties to the Profound Darkness, being from a timeline that was consumed by the Profound Darkness (possibly leading to [Persona] being corrupted by it in some manner), it's possible that the Profound Darkness itself more closely resembles Anga Fundarge and SH infection cores in aesthetics than it does a typical darker. It's also possible that [Persona] is capable of spawning Anga Fundarge, since other Dark Falzes spawn darkers that match their weaknesses. With [Apprentice] and [Loser] Doppelgangers from the most recent story quest confirming that even when untransformed, Dark Falzes have the same weaknesses as their more elaborate and obviously themed combat forms, [Persona] definitely is exclusively weak to light and would remain so even if it transformed. Since Anga Fundarge is specified as a Distorted Creature and not a darker, but otherwise has every single quality that defines a darker, there exists a possibility that it's a more advanced darker.
But most of this is speculation because there's very little actually said about this subject. A basic lowdown of what is officially confirmed would be
1) Darker cores on enemies are darker infections, and influence the infectee's behavior, turning it hostile toward ARKs. Even an enemy not visibly infected has been infected by darkers, it simply hasn't physically manifested yet. Darker infections mutate the bodies of those infected by them, somehow also being capable of transforming machines and devices, both Lilipa's mechs and ARKS technology.
2) SH infection cores are "living" infection cores that actively protect their hosts. The three basic variants correspond with insect (antlion head), aquatic/fish (big eye), and bird (bird wings) darkers, with the level 3 infection, the thorny hand, not visibly corresponding to any darker categories but combines traits from these three basic variants. The reason for these specific appearances are unknown, but there is a connection between darkers and Photon Blasts, and Anga Fundarge is also connected to infections and Photon Blasts.
3) Bird darkers are not spawned by a Dark Falz, as is the case with insect, aquatic, and presumably toy darkers, but are artificially created by Luther's experiments and research. Luther himself learns how to artificially transform himself into a Dark Falz through his studies of darkers, and is treated as a Dark Falz, but isn't really a Dark Falz in the same sense as the other Dark Falzes, and doesn't undergo such a transformation until EP2 Chapter 5, meaning a bird Dark Falz never existed up until that moment.
4) [Persona] and Anga Fundarge originate from an alternate timeline. [Persona] virtually all but says that the Profound Darkness destroyed the timeline it originated from, while the nature of the timeline Anga Fundarge originates from is unspecified. Whether Anga Fundarge is spawned by [Persona], from the same timeline as [Persona], or from a third timeline is not specified. Whether [Persona] is capable of spawning anything at all or even transforming is as of yet unknown.
5) Despite there being an infection core corresponding to insect, fish, and bird darkers, there is no infection core that matches toy darkers, unless the level 3 infection core is the match. [Double] is confirmed to have absorbed both [Loser] and a part of [Apprentice], and was seen attempting to absorb [Elder] in the newest story chapter, so this could very well be the case, since [Double] and the level 3 infection cores would both combine traits of three different Dark Falzes/darker cores. This last bit is speculation, however.
